About

Sirens is an all-new musical adventure, independently produced by local theatre start-up, Headphone Theater. It is our first time at The Angelus Theatre, and we can’t wait to share it with you!

Synopsis

A group of sailors are stranded on an island of monsters, waiting for death. Back in England, we learn that Charlotte was partially responsible for the voyage and is forming a plan to bring them back. After reaching the island, she and her crew narrowly escape the monsters only to clash with a band of pirates led by Cpt. Ironboot. The two groups form a tentative alliance to rescue their stranded sailors–and hopefully save their own skins.

CAST

CHARLOTTE – Savannah Johanson

Savannah is a theatre major at UVU, and also a very talented dancer. She is excited to be doing her first lead role in a musical, and she absolutely kills it as Charlotte.

IRONBOOT – Devin Tanner

Devin has acted in a wide range of plays and musicals, and has also acted for film. He is an experienced fight choreographer and helped us keep the show safe for our actors.

ANTHONY – Eduardo Alencar

Ed is an experienced actor who has played a variety of roles in various straight plays and musicals. He especially enjoys roles centered around singing and has a background in dance as well.

ABBIE – Elizabeth Adams

Elizabeth wrote the original script for The Thief and the Lady and decided to try acting for a change. In her musical debut she has loved learning how to bring the story to life on stage.

CPT. GREGORY – Greg Goddard

Music is part of Greg’s daily life, but he hasn’t performed in a musical since high school. If his character can face an island of monsters,  he figures he can rock that opening dance scene.

DIRECTOR – Adam Cannon

Adam has taken on almost every role in the theatre world for over 20 years. He loves working with playwrights and their original works because of the freedom it provides.

WRITER/COMPOSER/PRODUCER
– Levi Taylor

Levi is the owner of Headphone Theater as well as a composer and playwright. This is his fourth musical as producer/composer and his second time writing the full script.

CHOREOGRAPHER – Bethany Taylor

Bethany has choreographed over 40 musicals and is back for her second show with Headphone Theater. She has enjoyed using a more action-adventure style for the dance numbers in Sirens.

ASST. DIRECTOR
– Chelsea Lynn Tramell

Chelsea has been performing for over 20 years and is thrilled to be doing her first production with Headphone Theater both as an assistant director and as an actor (Nancy).

MUSIC DIRECTOR – Alyssa Garn

Alyssa is a music director, voice teacher, and actor and has participated in dozens of shows in Utah Valley. This is her first production with Headphone Theater, and she has enjoyed working with so many talented people.

STAGE MANAGER – Clarissa Walker

Clarissa is an experienced Set Designer and is back for her second production with Headphone Theater, this time as the Stage Manager. She has enjoyed working with the actors and director to bring out the best in this show.
